Corey Ferguson, MHA is a passionate advocate, recognized leader, and dedicated public servant committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Professionally, Corey administers programs and services that promote inclusion, improve quality of life, and strengthen community supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families. His deep commitment to public service and system improvement is grounded in both personal experience as a father of a child with profound developmental disabilities and an unwavering belief in building community and inclusion.
Nationally respected for his leadership and advocacy, Corey has been invited to participate in the National Supporting Families Summit in Washington, DC and serves on the Steering Committee for the National Community of Practice for Supporting Families. With a personal passion in supporting men, he also chairs the Father Engagement Task Force for Parent to Parent USA. In recognition of his contributions, Corey was honored with the 2023 Crystal Bell Advocacy Award from the LifeCourse Nexus Training and Technical Assistance Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
With a powerful voice and heartfelt mission, Corey continues to inspire, engage, and lead efforts to build stronger, more inclusive systems that empower individuals with developmental disabilities and support the families who love them.
